Stocking Stuffers For Guys

The Christmas shopping is in full swing and I am still at the creative stage where I really want to find and give thoughtful items for my family (in a couple of weeks I will be at the desperate stage and start resorting to gift cards!).

I’m not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I tend to get stuck when it comes to ideas for the men in my life. My husband, teenage boys, dad, father-in-law, and brothers are the hardest to shop for! It seems like they buy themselves the things they REALLY want. So what is a girl to do?

Well, this year I’ve been keeping a running list of cool items that are sure to please my picky dudes.  Here are my favorites….

MIssion Belt

These belts are the bomb!  They look amazing but they are super cool as well!  They have no holes and can be adjusted to the perfect fit.  They can even be cut and reinserted in the buckle if you happen to change sizes.  They come in many colors and are reasonable at just under $40.

Camping Lantern

I first saw this cool lantern on a camping trip this summer!  It is super compact and requires no batteries.  Simply leave it out in the sun during the day and fill it with air at night.  It provides a lot of light and won’t break when a kid accidently tips it over!  There are a variety of different shapes available but my favorite is a frosted one at REI that is only $20!

Silicone Rings

Silicone rings have become increasingly popular and Enso made them that much more.  They have all kinds of colors and styles for men and women.  A silicone ring doesn’t get damaged or get in the way when you are working the yard, working out in the gym, cooking, camping, etc.  They are a great gift for under $20.

Solar Panel Charger

So I tend to be a worrier….whenever my family goes anywhere, they know they better check in with me. If I don’t get a call, I go into full panic mode.  So making sure they can always make a phone call is life or death for this mom.  Goal Zero has some really cool products for the outdoorsman…this is a solar panel that charges a phone or batteries.  This kit comes with a flashlight/fan that can also be used as a portable charger. They have great gifts like these for around $100.

Patterned Dress Socks

I am all over the recent trend of patterned dress socks, although I always tend to pick the ones that are on the conservative side!  These are a fun stocking filler and can be found at various stores like Ross and TJ Maxx in a gift set for around $20.

Key Finder

So this one has been on MY list for several years and I am definitely going to get it this year….a key finder!  We could solve a few emergencies (every week) with something like this.  It requires no batteries… just download an app to your phone that will “call” your keys when they are lost.  These are available to purchase in multiples and could be used to keep track of all sorts of things.  They run about $25 for one and decrease in price if you purchase several.

In A Pikle Bag

And speaking of emergencies….the In A Pikle bag is perfect for the glovebox, backpack, or travel bag.  It can be purchased with a myriad of essentials like bandaids, clippers, tweezers, safety pins and tissues… OR purchase it empty and  customize it with the things he uses the most. It is lightweight and compact! This is perfect for my teenagers to keep in their glove boxes and for my husband who travels often.  It’s also on sale right now, so grab one today!

Pikle Tool Card

This little wonder is a perfect little addition to the In A Pikle bag or slide it in your wallet.  It is the size of a credit card but has over 10 different functions including a razorblade, wrench, bottle opener and saw blade. This is also available on Inapikle.com for only $3.

So these are my top picks! I can’t wait to see happy faces when they unload their stocking this year!  Happy shopping and Merry Christmas!!
