Explore Life’s Possiblities

What do you think of when you hear the word “possibility”?

When we look into the face of a child with their twinkling eyes and toothless grin, we see hope and a life full of possibility.  As time goes on, we lose that hope and potential for ourselves. Our past experiences can put a box around our perceived potential and possibilities… if we allow it.

Potential is defined as having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something in the future.  It doesn’t reference anything about the past.  The past is behind you and the future is what’s right in front of you…full of pure, positive possibility.  Audrey Hepburn once said, “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I’m Possible.”

So how do we break  out of the box, and find a life full of possibilities for ourselves?  Here are just a few things I’ve found helpful as I explore life’s possibilities…

  1. Ask yourself…what’s really important and then focus on it
  2. Eliminate distractions
  3. Persist until you succeed
  4. Find happiness in the journey (my personal fave! The journey is actually where the possibilities are realized.)

…and, no matter where you find yourself, just remember to not let yourself be boxed in and limited by your past experiences.  The possibilities are endless, so live in the possible!
